Synthetic Motor Oil
Most oil additives are sold to fix an oil that was not built for the job. SFR Ultimate Series motor oil starts from the other end: it is blended with the same extreme-pressure additive technology SFR has manufactured since 1985, so the protection is in the oil rather than added to it.
Two grades cover the common cases. Ultimate Series 5W30 is for gasoline engines, including high-mileage vehicles where wear protection matters most. Ultimate Series 15W40 is the heavy-duty diesel grade for trucks, agricultural and construction equipment.
The wear-reduction claims behind the additive technology come from independent WearCheck oil analysis and ASTM certification, not from in-house testing.
SFR Ultimate Series Motor Oil 5W30
SFR Ultimate Series passenger car motor oils are formulated for the demanding performance of today's engines. It has been developed to provide maximum protection under all driving conditions and has an enhanced additive package to protect against the rigors of stop-and-go driving. We start with an API Service Category GF-5, SM, Engergy Conserving base oil and fortifiy with SFR. The base oil meets GM 6094M, Ford ESE-M2C153E, GSA A-A52039 and GSA A-A52306A. This product is also recommended for older engines. SFR Ultimate Series Synthetic Blend 5W30 have significantly improved oxidation stability, added detergency and a unique additive package to provide maximum protection over the life of the oil. Additionally, SFR Ultimate Series Synthetic Blend 5W30 protects today's smaller six-cylinder and four-cylinder engines, turbocharged engines as well as older, larger engines. SFR's Ultimate Series Diesel Motor Oil provides higher oil film thickness, improved oxidation control at higher temperatures, improved soot handling and shear stability performance in all diesel engines. We start with an API Service Category CI-4 Plus for extended drain intervals and fortifiy with SFR.
