SFR Lubricant and Penetrating Oil
SFR's Lubricant & Penetrating Oil contains extreme pressure agents to provide maximum loosening of rusty bolts and parts. The Extreme Pressure agent works into the rusted surface and relieves the torque created by parts rusting together. Once the product penetrates it will loosen easily. On rusted metal cables brushing is the preferred method allowing soaking time of around 5 minutes. This product can be used where aerosol cans, due to their flammability, cannot be used. We formulate with a non-flammable solvent for safety reasons. The product will literally dry on the metal however it still retains its full lubricating and rust preventive capabilities. Wet or dry SFR Lubricant & Penetrating Oil will repel and displace water. On a laboratory Timken machine SFR Lubricant & Penetrating Oil will withstand 600 lbs. of pressure whereas the leading brand will fail at a mere 120-150 lbs. of friction.
